IBS 2023 was the 21st annual meeting of the Israeli Bioinformatics Society, which brings together faculty members and students from all the academic institutions in Israel and researchers from the industry, interested in developing or employing computational techniques in a variety of areas, including genomics, structural biology, systems biology and others. It was held in the Edmond J. Safra Campus (Givat Ram) campus of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. The program included Keynote lectures by Elhanan Borenstein and Michal Linial.Ora Schueler-Furman, President of the Israel Society for Bioinformatics and Computational Biology, and the local organization committee: Dina Schneidman, Liran Carmel, Nir Friedman, Naomi Habib, Tommy Kaplan, Michal Linial, Hanah Margalit, Barak Raveh, Moran Yassour and Shiran Halimi.
